    Freeze-drying is the name of the game.

    When we arrive at the factory we’re bursting with goodness so we travel through fancy vacuum chambers that gently remove the water without making us old and wrinkly like Aunt Pru(ne).
    Other guys we know aren’t so lucky. First they get hit with conventional drying methods that use more heat, like baking, dehydrating and sweetened dried – thereby depleting nutritional content and causing more damage to-

    • cell structures – this reduces the fresh ‘crunchiness’
    • enzymes – which damages the nutrients, and
    • volatiles – which lessen the taste

    And more often than not they get pumped with preservatives and added sugar.

    Being freeze dried, we have no preservatives, no artificial colours or flavours and no added sugar. We’re naturally high in flavour because we retain virtually all of our nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

    Basically we stay fresh and crunchy like the day we were picked to provide honest, farm fresh goodness you can taste.

    We won’t over-ripen or spoil.

    Because the enzymes inside us don’t have any water or oxygen to react with.
